Terms and conditions

​

Agent Commission
1. Commission is 50% X 4 weeks' fee - 
(i)  upfront payment to Good Tuition. Parent's contact details will be released after payment is received
(ii) one time payment only (for each job).  
(iii) payment to be made within 48 hours from request

Example on commission calculation
1 class per week (2 hrs) at RM50/hr. 
                 
Monthly fee : 4 weeks x 2 hrs x RM50/hr = RM400
Commission : 50% x RM400 = RM200 

Regardless of when class starts in a calendar month, commission payable is RM200

2. For jobs involving trial class
(i) If Client requests for a trial class, Good Tuition will request for payment from the Client and to be paid directly to tutor
(ii) If trial class is not successful, tutor needs to pay commission 25% x trial class fee. Balance will be refunded within 48 hours after notification by Client

4. Commission for short term jobs (below 3 months) is between 15% to 50%. To be discussed on a case to case basis.

5. Refund policy
a. No refund on commission after 4 weeks classes
​b. If a job is cancelled within 4 weeks, commission of 15% will be charged on total fee received    by tutor. Balance will be refunded within 48 hours after notification by Client. Tutor to provide evidence of job cancellation, if necessary
c. No refund if job is terminated on the following reasons :
(i) tutor tardiness, indiscipline, incompetency, providing false information during job application 
(ii) tutor finds the location too far/inconvenient after starting the job. 
     (Before accepting a job, tutor should check accessibility of location when address is provided)
(iii) frequent class cancellations and changing tuition time

6. Upon request by parents/Good Tuition, tutors are to present academic certificates and testimonials and other relevant information in support of application.

7. Tutors who (i) decline job offer without any valid reason, (ii) refuse to produce academic certificates, (iii) habitually pay commission late (iv) do not meet expectations and not professional will be unsubscribed as a tutor with Good Tuition

8. You should have at least 6 months of prior tutoring experience
